Preserving the quality of water and rivers

Life quality of man depends on his awareness of the limits in his consumption of natural resources

It's becoming urgent !

With the help of the systematicians of the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (Paris), the inventory of the aquatic insects from the Bruche–Mossig catchment is now in progress. These animals are reliable indicators of water quality and of the good condition of rivers.

The Comité technique de gestion piscicole du bassin Bruche-Mossig supports our work. It's a federation of all angling societies (AAPPMA : associations agréées pour la pêche et et la protection du milieu aquatique, Water Act, 1992) of that part of the Rhine–Meuse catchment.
